Alright bees, I really need your help. I love both of the dresses below, but I don’t know which to choose. Here are pics of both the front and the back along with some of my pros and cons. Thanks for your input!
Wtoo Emerson Front
Wtoo Emerson Back
I love the design in the lace on this dress. It’s a little hard to see in the picutre, but it is also embellished with small pearls and crystals which are beautiful in person. My concern is that it’s not very structured and only has a half corsett. I don’t have much of a waistline to begin with so I could really use some help in that department. The lace is also really delicate, so I worry about it snagging.
Allure C172 back
So this one is definitely structured and I like the curves it gives me. My concerns here are that it’s a little too much of a mermaid cut for my taste. I also feel like the overall dress is quite trendy. I know I love it now, but is this going to be a regrettable choice in 10 years.
I really appreciate your help!

I can’t see anything. Would you mind reposting your pics/links?

Sorry gang! I don’t know what happened to the pictures there. I reposted, hopefully you can see them now.

I like #2!! You should add a poll.

OoOo! #2 for sure!
It compliments your figure so well and I really like the skirt.

I like the back and pattern of dress 1, but to be completely honest, I don’t think it’s very flattering for your waist. Maybe if you had some fitted undergarments?? Otherwise, I really love the bottom and silhouette of dress 2, but feel like it’s missing something – maybe some sort of sash??

I can understand why you are drawn to the look of the first dress, beautiful lace! But honestly the second dress flatters you and your body much better. And its not an extreme fit and flare so I don’t think that makes it overally trendy.
Maybe you haven’t found THE ONE yet? Have you tried other styles? I think you should keep shopping.

No question, the second one looks great on you.

I have to agree with the PP. Dress #1 isn’t flattering, something about the cut or the lines. Dress #2 is lovely and much more flattering.
If in doubt keep shopping. If you have concerns with the mermaid style try on different styles especially those with a corset if this is a problem area as you mentioned.

I love both gowns (you have great taste!). I think the second one suits you better and the skirt is gorgeous.
I don’t think it’s overly trendy, but really, there will be components of any dress you get that will be trendy. Maybe someday strapless dresses will be completely out of style and all of them will look dated. Pick the dress you love.

I also vote for #2, flatters your body and is beautiful.

@E_Lynne615: I did try it on with a sash, here’s a photo for comparison (although I’m not a big fan of this particular sash). Do you like it better here?

#2 for sure. The first one cuts your waist a little funny and the second dress flatters your beautiful figure much better!
