@maskelunass: It is white but since it is silk satin it will be a warmer white since real silk does not come in a true bright white.

The shop was very nice, that is part of the reason I chose to order my dress from that shop.

I am also going to the designer’s studio for my fittings which should be a fun experience.

I did go nuts!!  If you try to think of every possibility, you can’t possibly make any decisions.  Just listen to yourself.  I loved this dress more and more each time I put it on… have you been able to go back and try on the dresses again?  I don’t have any pictures of me in this dress yet~ I bought it without seeing how I looked in pictures, partly because I didn’t want to keep driving around and trying on dresses and mostly because I just liked it so much.  I never dreamed I’d have such a tough time picking a dress or that I’d like a ball gown with flowers all over it.  Sooo not my usual style!

You really do look amazing in that first dress~ and you look beautiful in the second, but… the second is not a “wow” dress.  You won’t be able to choose a wrong dress, because you will make any dress beautiful.  Which dress can you imagine designing the rest of the wedding around?  Maybe you’ll be reassured when everything else starts falling into place.  I know I felt much more sane when the dress issue was decided and finalized!

I had so much drama over it all that we had agreed to just go to Vegas and have fun… and now I love this dress.  I got so lucky because it was a newly recieved sample gown and I was the first one to try it on… literally, I had to rip the tissue off of it… and it was very close to fitting.  I guess I built up some good karma somewhere!  So we’re talking with family to see if yet one more plan can be changed!  Vegas might have to wait…

Just trust that everything will work out and your wedding will be beautiful and meaningful.  I know the dress is an important decison, but you’ll have your hair and makeup done, he’ll be in a suit (huge, cheesy grin~ can’t wait for that)… you won’t be walking down the aisle thinking, “man, I should’ve chosen that other dress…”

Nerves are totally normal!  If you liked the dress, stick with your guns.

Oh man I just saw it with straps.  I change my vote, go with the first with straps! I think it makes it look so classy!
