I like the solitaire but I’m a traditional kind of gal and the double stone ring just doesn’t say engagement ring to me.  If she’s traditional I would say the solitaire.  If she’s a trend-setter or she likes to stand out I would say the double diamond.  But honestly, if she hasn’t voiced a preference you’re probably okay with either one, she just wants it to be official.

Normally, I like more unique rings, but in this case, something about the little twist in the solitaire setting is really speaking to me.

Also, I agree with what others have said: she already loves both and she’ll definitely love whatever comes from you.

By the way, do you know her ring size already? If you do, and you want to add something to the solitaire, it might be nice to get something special engraved inside of it.

An early congratulations to you!

Just because other women have solitaires doesn’t mean hers won’t be different on her finger.  It says ENGAGED without being curious about the kind of ring it is.  Not only do they look amazing on slim fingers but you can engrave something unique inside.  Its not about being soooo different.  If it looks beautiful on her then stick with a classic.

Ok, now that I’ve seen the pix, I still stick with my guns and say Solitaire.

Do you know how to add a poll?

I prefer the solitaire to the double stone.

Love that solitaire!  It’s classic with a (real!) twist.  ๐Ÿ™‚  I think it’s the perfect blend of simple and classic, but with a little flair thrown in.  Beautiful!

The twist ring to me is not a great option because what about a wedding band?

I love the solitare!

Aww, you are sweet!

The cool twist solitaire gets my vote – I love the detail, and it looks lovely on her hand!

My Fiance got me a ring that was ‘different and unique’ and i LOVE it, but the issue we are running into now is getting a wedding band to go with it! We are going to have to have one custom made, which means spending a lot more then we orignally planned. So keep that in mind when choosing ‘the ring’! ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck, in the end she will love whatever you get her because it is from you!

I love the double stone!  To me it represents the true “equality” of the partners as both are symbolized as two separate individuals twisted into one entity of marriage.. Just don’t mind me I love “moi et toi” rings ๐Ÿ™‚

The wedding band could be a custom wrap that would go on both sides of the e-ring ๐Ÿ™‚
