I love the solitaire (biased because that’s what I have), and I especially love the little twist in the setting. It’s beautiful!

EDIT: I also have very long, slender, fingers (US size 5, but could easily go smaller during winter months) and the solitaire on a thin band looks fantastic on me.

I vote for the solitaire.  I love unique rings but it didn’t scream engaged to me.  But this is a special gift from you to her and you would know best.  They are both beautiful and the Bee’s will support you either way.  Trust yourself 😀

Now that I’ve seen them, I think the solitaire is perfect, for reasons outlined by previous posters.  It’s lovely on her hand and the twist makes it unique, while still falling into the category of “definitely an engagement ring.”  Keep us posted, and best wishes for a successful proposal and a long and happy life together!

I’d definitely go with the solitaire. It’s more classic and timeless, plus it will be easier to pair with a wedding band! There are soooo many options for fun unique wedding bands (which to me is the more important ring).

The 2 stone ring will be annoying to find a wedding band to match.

The solitaire wins in my opinion.

I prefer the solitaire as well and if for some reason she really would rather have a different setting, she can choose it after your propose.

@HulaGirl1977:  Also a solitaire is easier to pair up with an enhancer to make it look as unique at times as the double but can be worn simple too.

Personally, I love that two stone twist. I’m a big fan of unique rings, it makes it more special. She’s never going to look over at the grocery store and see a girl with the same exact ring.

Two stone twist, I’m not a solitaire girl though.  I think it’s unique and interesting!
