Neither. The pear doesn’t look great but you don’t need an IF clarity stone. You’re paying extra for that when you won’t notice an eye different between a VS1-2 and IF. if you love the bigger size of the pear I’d keep looking at light yellows in larger sizes. If you’re keeping the fancy shape theme you can go to VS2 while maintaining the eye clean look. I just feel like for your budget, while the cushion is a stunning stone – you can get the bigger look you love for the same price.
also have you looked into alphabet yellows?

I’m hoping to stay under 18k or so for the stone and get to 3+ carats yellow diamond. The pear was about $17k but I’ve decided I agree with everyone, it really is too included to consider. The cushion I posted is also about 17k

I personally am someone who doesn’t really prioritize clarity as much as color and size but I think this inclusion is too big and obvious for the diamond to be beautiful. It also would affect light performance because it’s blocking out the light and it’s a black inclusion too. If it was a large white inclusion, that could still work.

There’s a very nice stone on blue nile. Its just a hair over your price range, but it’s a winner. It’s an actual fancy yellow. It’s lighter than most fancy yellows which is prob why it’s priced so attractively.
