Our Save-The-Date Cards had a “tie the knot” theme that I really want to carry on to our invites, but I don’t want it to be to cutesy or possibly nautical so I came up with a heart shaped celtic knot to bundle the invites and rsvp cards So my question is, do you like the knot better tight:
or loose (keeping in mind that it could be complicated figuring out a way to make this delicate knot keep it’s shape-if you vote for this one and you have any ideas on how to keep it in tact please let me know!):
Thanks for your input!

That’s really neat! I voted for one, because I’ll think you’ll feel better knowing that after going through the mail, the knot will still look the same.

The first one doesn’t resemble a heart (to me) in that pic…but it’s still cool.
the second one is nice and looks like a heart…but probably would get messed up..could you like hot glue (or something) it together?

@Jamcnair: I can’t hot glue it because it will ruin the invite then, I think I am going to try some fabric stiffener though!

I like the loose one. It resembles a heart more than the first one and just looks very neat. Great job!
You can make it keep it’s shape my spraying it with some starch to stiffen it up a bit. I’m just brainstorming here. It’s worth a try.

I like the loose one but worry it wouldn’t hold shape. Can you put on in an envelope and them carry the envelope around a while and smoosh it and anything else that might happen in the mail. Then see if the knot still looks good. If it stays, send the loose one, if it loses shape, send the tight one. They both look super cute and I can tell they’re both hearts!
