I like #2 better but am a sucker for ballgowns and sparkle.

OMG! I LOVE your first dress. I don’t think the second one is nearly as flattering. But I may be biased because I tried on your second dress and hated it. It’s not nearly as special as your first dress. I love the beaded overlay and I think you look beautiful in it!

My vote is for #1. Dress #2 is lovely but I think #1 accentuates your figure beautifully, and you have a great figure to show off! But honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with either!

I am all about ballgowns, princess like dresses for brides.

you get to wear fitted dresses any other day. You can only wear something like dress #2 for your own wedding

Dress 2 hands down! Sorry but first one looks completely like a pageant dress and not bridal at all IMO. Still stunning- just not bridal.

cloud9bride :  I’m glad someone else replied quicker and was able to tell you that it was Stella York! What is the brand of dress #2? I picked the Stella York one for you because the lace patterns on #2 reminded me of the essense of australia “family” of designers (essense of australia, stella york, martina liana). You may also want to look at Maggie Sottero…

Anyway, I’m not sure what the other fitted dresses that you tried on were like, but I ended up getting a fitted dress and never thought that I would! Mine is Martina Liana (style 817), and even though it isn’t as soft as crepe, I felt like the material was still soft enough to suck everything in at the middle and hug my curves while still being pretty comfortable! So don’t give up… if that’s the silouette you’re looking for then there will be something out there! (I still want to add though that I LOVE LOVE LOVE #2 on you and think it fits perfectly with your venue)

I really like the first one better! The back of the second one looks kinda odd to me, the two circles.

cloud9bride :  I guess I’m going against the grain here because I love #1.

I love your curves and how they look in that gown, what a beautifully defined silhouette (and your butt looks so amazing)!

You look like a woman!

I also prefer your waist in #1.

I like #2 from the back, but not so much from the front. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful gown and you look beautiful in it (no doubt), but #1 is just WOW from front to back.

Follow your heart bee and you will end up with a beautiful gown no matter what.

I just noticed the two circles in the back of #2.

I stand firm on my choice of #1, goodness it’s beautiful.

cloud9bride :  Haven’t had the wedding yet so not totally sure but I made sure to walk around the store, sit down and stand up a few times, etc. Also I just remembered I tried on a dress exactly like yours! Sorry for the creepy smiley faces. Anyway, the lace over the whole bottom did feel slightly more restricting than the crepe, but I kind of like that it sucked things in a little more while still showing off my shape, and I didn’t have a problem moving around. If you did try some on that you couldn’t move in, maybe it was just that specific material? I know some heavier laces may be more restricting.
