Hey bees! So, with less than 6 weeks until my wedding, I’m still flopping around about what to do with my hair. I think the BIGGEST problem is that I’m SO self conscious about my nose. I seriously hate it sometimes in photos, and the last thing I want to do is choose a hairstyle that accentuates that feature that I hate so much. I know I need to do an updo, specifically because I am having an outdoor summer wedding and my dress has a high neckline
So this is a straight on shot of me (professional) which is obviously how the wedding photos will be taken. When I smile, my nose does widen a bit and it does stick out way more than I would like. Like seriously, sometimes I see photos of my profile and I’m flat out embarrassed!
Now, I originally wanted to go with a kate hudson all back look like this
However, my profile is obviously not even half as pretty as hers and so I’m worried. Here is my hair all back (might I add, this is a pretty good photo…)
But I’m thinking since I’m so self conscious, maybe I need a part? here is what I look like with a part in my hair
So, then I started thinking maybe I should do something like this:
I just really really need some unbiased opinions! and the flat out TRUTH! Shoot me 100% straight. I obviously don’t want to look back on these photos one day and wish I had worn my hair differently.
Also, if you have any hairstyle suggestions for me, please feel free to post me a photo!! I would appreciate it so so much!

Dear, you are flat out gorgeous! Don’t be self conscious about how you think you look. Option 1 is so flattering on you. 🙂

The picture of you with your hair pulled straight back, is beautiful! I am with you on the profile shots, I hate my nose too (although you honestly are exaggerating ) . I am probably wearing my hair half up, half down, have you considered that?

Hair down and wavy, 100%. It’s so soft and beautiful

@FauxBoho: Thank you! I love my hair down too, the only problem is.. it’s naturally very very curly and will frizz in the humid weather, so it must go up in some way, shape, or form.

I think that the all back look actually softens your face and is very flattering. The part actually draws more attention to the center of your face. What about a really dramatic side part? I really like the Kate Hudson style, though. And I think you look beautiful.

@FutureMrsJohnston: I could be over exaggerating… but you know what people say, sometimes you’re your own worst critic! Like I was explaining to fauxboho, I have to wear it up due to the humidity. I’ll be a frizzy mess if not! I also feel like it hair would just ruin my neckline on my dress.
OH and I found a photo of my profile!! I had to look everywhere.. I must really hate them haha!

@wynnetaylorwedding: no part, all of your hair back looks sooo pretty! 🙂

Totally the Kate all back style, it’s gorgeous, but more importantly I had to reply that you are beyond gorgeous. You’re nose is beautiful! You are going to be a STUNNING bride!
ETA: You’re dress is amazing!

@wynnetaylorwedding: You are beautiful and you will look gorgeous on your wedding day no matter how you do your hair! I LOVE the updo in the last pic you posted. Do that!

@wynnetaylorwedding: I really like the picture with the hair all back. I am not sure how a part would distract from your nose lol. I think you’re really pretty!!

Well you are just gorgeous:)) I think your hair would look great half up and curly:)

First of all, you are so pretty – do not worry about your nose, at all. I mean, I get it (I HATE my nose, too), but honestly the last thing anyone will be thinking about will be your nose.
Now, to your topic: I honestly think you look better with your hair straight back, like Kate. To me, the height brings the eye up, whereas the part/side sweep draws the eye more towards the center of your face.

@wynnetaylorwedding: I adore the Kate Hudson style! You look gorgeous, don’t be self conscious!

I think you are absolutely stunning! I totally understand being self-conscious about a certain feature though. I think with your hair pulled all back like Kate Hudson there is less attention toward the center of your face just as the PP above me said 🙂
