I am pretty sure that I’m the most indecisive bride in the country, and I am having trouble choosing a theme. The first choice is a pink and damask themed wedding with silver accents and the second choice is a purple and blue peacock inspired themed wedding with gold accents. Please help me choose a theme by voting whichever theme you think is the most beautiful.

I voted for the first one bc I love pink but they are both so pretty! Are there any colors/elements to your ceremony or venue locations that might favor one of these?

If your the ‘most indecisive’ than I’m your 2nd in command. hehe. :)I seem to deal more w. the little details first and THEN try to tackle the bigger decisions. Sigh! haha.
Anyway, they both have their appeals, but I definitely like the purple/teal one the best! 🙂 In My Humble Opinion – the purple one ‘says’ ” elegant, bold, sexy, rich w. the colors, and tad more unique” While the pink one ‘says’ “pretty, sweet, demure, more traditional”
Though perhaps use the season your getting married to help you decide the color palette. If you are a more ‘classic’ type bride/person and are getting married in the Spring, then perhaps choose the Pink. However, if your not as traditional type…but still getting married in the Spring..then choose Purple. 🙂
Overall, hope you have fun! 🙂 Would love to know which one you do finally choose and why..;)

I’ll pick the 1st once since it might blend more with the time of year you’re getting married. You’re more likely to find those flowers in March. The peacock theme is LOVELY, and would go well with a formal evening affair in the fall. That’s just me.

Aww…if I didn’t already have a start of my colors, I would’ve LOVED to have the Purple inspiration board’s ideas. Awesome! 🙂
As a sort of example….to share and may perhaps help you…;)
I personally love purple. I also love love dark shades like eggplant/plum shades too. 🙂 I initially was going to get married in the fall and wanted eggplant/orange,etc. Though then my Fiance and I moved our date to the spring. However, I still wanted to keep the eggplant shade for my Spring wedding colors…and so I ended up adding in ivory-cream and lavender to help ‘balance’ for the lighter season, but keep my love for the dark more ‘fall/winter’ shade.
So…as another possibility to help you in your decisions is to perhaps do a little mixing and matching. If you are really torn between the two different palettes…mix them together some.
Like perhaps…if you really like the Purple palette…put in the Damask insead of the black in that palette.
Or for the Pink one….perhaps switch the Damask and/or black color for Teal or keep the Damask.Black.Ivory and the Dark Pink and switch out the light pink for the Teal.
something like that.
Again, whatever you decide…have fun! 🙂

I’m loving the current peacock trend I keep seeing! You can do so many different things with it!

I think I like the peacock theme, the pink would be nice for spring! Have you picked your venue?

I feel like Pink and Damask is very very common. I love the purple peacock! Just my opinion

Both are beautiful but I’ll go with #1!

I chose the peacock because that is what Fiance and I are having at our wedding. Our colors are purple and teal, with blue, green, and gold accents. Here is the inspiration board we found that we liked:
And another picture that we loved:

I went with the purple and blue peacock because I think it is less common than the pink and black damask look.

I liked the peacock. And dont worry I have changed my theme & colors atleast 4 times!

they are both lovely but i think the peacock runs the risk of being less “DATED” in the future than the damask… the damask is very trendy now and i think in 10 years, you are going to associate it directly with 2009-2011 weddings… i personally don’t care if a wedding looks “dated” in the future but just throwing that out there if you might…

i love the rich colors of the peacock theme, so chic! would go very beautifull with an late afternoon/evening wedding.
the pink is beautiful too, i can see that more for a daytime wedding.
either way, you can’t lose!

I picked pink only because your wedding is in March and Spring will starting. I think the peacock colors remind me of Fall.
