Both blues are very pretty, but I think the navy is more classic, timeless.

I love both blues, but I like the dress thats in navy better?

Problem is, I don’t think it would be a big deal if most of the colors are in indigo blue and you chose Navy – I’m not sure people would make the connection.

But, me??  I had to decide between a light blue or aqua for my colors – and once I did, EVERYTHING that is blue must be that blue color or it would drive me crazy.  lol (it’s like an OCD thing maybe?)

Honestly, in the inspirational board you posted- the blue in there looks indigo and the other dress would work.  But, I like the style from the navy better : giggles :  Had to throw that in there!

We had navy for our wedding and I didn’t think I would like it, and I ended up loving it!

Personally I like the brighter blue, but I like bright colors, especially for photos. 🙂 If you’re having an outdoor/spring/summer/daytime wedding, I definitely like it better.

The navy looks almost black, and it is definitely more classic, so if you’re going for a more elegant/formal/evening wedding, that’s probably the better choice.

My color scheme is “if it’s blue, it works” for my wedding.  Pretty much any shade of blue goes.  I told my BM’s blue and knee length.  So far, I have a girl in navy, one in royal, and one in baby blue.  The other 2 haven’t picked dresses yet.

So, I think both colors are equally fabulous and would work well.  If you’re trying to go with saphire blue, I’d go with the mattise blue.

I like the matisse color best, but for the dress you chose I think navy is the way to go!

@lsvogel:  Two of my girls are recycling dresses they wore in previous weddings.  My biggest thing is that I don’t want my girls to spend more than $50 on a dress.

The one and only wedding I’ve been in, the dress cost me $200.  My Future Mother-In-Law used my dress from the wedding for her halloween costume last year.  It was crushed velvet and taffeta.  It was gawd awful.  Hello, 1992 called and wants its bridesmaids dress back.

David’s Bridal Outlet has a ton of Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in blue for under $60.  Maybe they’ll find something they like?

I am always worried navy will clash with the black if the men wear black suits? if you can get the boys in navy, too, I’d flip  but for now I’m voting matisse!

Hello color twin! 🙂 I love the matisse – such a pretty shade! I think it may look odd if this one thing in your whole wedding was randomly navy. I say stick with your scheme!

You can also see the details of the dress much better in the matisse. The navy kind of hides them.
