I went to try on wedding dresses today for the second time (the first time was almost a year ago right after we got engaged). I’m no longer a fan of any of the dresses I tried on last year, but now I have some new dresses to choose from. The wedding will not be in a church. More than likely it will be outdoors or in a court house. No matter how small or ‘informal’ our wedding might be, one of the things that is really important to me is being able to wear a nice wedding dress. I know the three dresses are quite different in style. Out of the three which one do you think looks best?

I voted for the second one, but… you have a really nice figure and I don’t think any of these dresses show that off. Have you tried anything more towards a fit-and-flare, or just more fitted overall?

I think that the first one looks the best on you but I don’t LOVE the crumb catcher. Could it be taken off?

The second dress is beautiful on you!

I voted for the second. It looks easily three times more expensive than the other two, and I think it shows off your figure beautifully. It’s so elegant!

I’m torn between the crum catcher and the tea length dress. I think they both look beautiful on you — just depends on what mood you’re going for. I didn’t vote for #2 because I don’t love the bodice or the neckline.

I think the detailing on the train of the second dress is lovely, but I’m not crazy about the neckline and bodice. If I have to choose, it’s probably still my favorite of the three though. TBH I think something else entirely would look nicer and be more flattering.

Thank you for the comments everyone! I’m curious, those of you that say that you would try something different, what would you recommend trying?

@SimpleGifts: I like the front on the first dress the best of the three, however, I like the back on the second one the best. I don’t think the third dress does anything for your figure. It’s a pretty dress but you don’t look short. I think tea length dresses look best on petite gals. I think you should try a fitted gown or mermaid type of gown just to see how it looks. I think you’re off to a good start though.:-)

@MrsTahoe: I agree with this!

love the 2nd dress. the back of it with the inverted pleats is stunning.

I voted for Tea length at first (don’t know that you would prefer outdoor or courthouse). I think it looks very nice on you. If you don’t like short dress, you can find similar style but in long skirt.
