@bridetobee1:  maybe you could choose the first dress, but remove the blingy belt and add a lace bolero or lacy straps or something? Would it feel a bit more “you” then?

Because dress #1 does probably look the best of the two, in terms of flattering your figure, but on the other hand it is a lot of dress and I feel a little bit like the dress is wearing you instead of the other way around.

I voted for the Casablanca. The Allure is gorgeous and my preference. However, you have to get what you are comfortable in and what suits you, otherwise you’ll have dress regret.  I tried on a number of dresses that others loved. They were might be more flattering than the one I ended up with, but they just didn’t feel right to me. Go with your gut. You’ll look beautiful no matter what.

Go with the one that is “you”! I didn’t and I regretted it and ended up going back to get “my” dress.

#1 is definitely more flattering on you!

I normally wouldn’t go for too bling and the first dress would be too much for me, but it looks amazing on you! So I voted for the Allure. Smile

One thing to ask – can the appliqué be replaced with something less blingy?  One of my girlfriends got emarried in a dress nearly identical to the Allure but intead of a sequin appliqué her’s was a white chiffon(?) flower.  It looked beautiful and it photographed incredibly with the train.

FWIW when my sister got married she ended up buying a dress that was more elaborate than she ever thought she would (and was not over the top at all).  It was the one that made her well up in tears/gave her butterflies in her stomach and not very “her” but it really was the one Smile

I voted for the second one because that’s the one YOU love and ultimately the only opinion that matters

@bridetobee1:  no one supported my dress choice.  Not the bee, not my sisters, not my mom – my Bridesmaid or Best Man did, okay so one person supported it.  You need to get the dress that YOU want, the one that YOU feel in your heart is your dress.  I tried on 2 dozen dresses, all of them were pretty and okay and probably good enough, but none of them made me want to bounce around and do my happy dance like MY dress did  I said screw it and bought what I wanted, in the end the dress really is all about the bride.  I voted for the Casablanca, I think it’s gorgeous and it’s what YOU want. 🙂

@bridetobee1:  I voted for the 1st dress because it’s spectacular and your figure is amazing in it.  However it seems like you love the 2nd one more.  If I hadn’t seen the first one, I would have said the second was amazing!  Pick what you love, and what will make you feel beautiful on your wedding day.

@bridetobee1:  While I absolutely looooove the first dress on you (you could always go without the applique, I’m sure) you look good in both of them. If you want to wear the second one, go for it. You are the one wearing it and you will look even more glowing if you love the dress.

@bridetobee1: The Allure, the ruffles seem to suit you and perhaps your personality(?). You look fabulous in it.

@bridetobee1:  You look absolutely amazing in the first dress and I agree with your Mom and sister.  HOWEVER, you seem to be really hesitant about it.  I’d keep looking.
