Hi Bees,
We are serving three plated meal choices, and so far I have filet mignon, and butternut squash ravioli for the vegetarians. We are having the reception on the ocean so I thought a seafood dish is appropriate, but which one would you choose? Help me decide, please 🙂

Is there a list of options?
I’d go for a seafood entree. Since your reception is on the ocean, people will probably expect it

I’d go with the lobster or shrimp, I don’t actually like fish but love lobster/crab/shrimp.

Mmm baked stuffed lobster sounds fantastic! Second choice would be baked stuffed shrimp. 🙂

Baked stuffed shrimp got my vote. I may just be an idiot, but I have no idea what haddock is, and I’m a weirdo who doesn’t like lobster.

Thanks you everyone!
@Carolinacola…haddock is a mild white fish
As of right now I am leaning towards the shrimp or lobster…votes are very close for those

Your wedding menu sounds fantastic!
I’d go with lobster, a lot of people love it and it’s an incredibly impressive dish to have. Just make sure you don’t have any guests with severe shell-fish allergies though – sometimes just being near it can cause people to swell up.

I personally would love the baked stuffed lobster. But my guess is that in the general population more people would like shrimp. But I totally voted for the lobster-yum!

I voted for stuffed haddock because it’s “safer” (lots of people with shellfish allergies), though I personally would prefer the shrimp. Do you know your guests’ dietary preferences/restrictions well enough to guess what they’d want?

I would maybe go for the fish over the shellfish. I am cutting out shellfish from my wedding because I have at least 3 guests who are extremely allergic. The chance of cross-contamination is too high. If you have guests with allergies this may be something to consider.

I love haddock so I would pick either the baked or stuffed haddock!
