Hey Bees
I’ve been humming and ha-ing over different styles lately and now that my hair is finally starting to get some length to it, I think I should be able to pull off what I have in mind without having to use extensions. I’ve been told by most people that I suit my hair up, and my dress is such that I want to show off my shoulders and back.
With this in mind, I am wanting to have my hair in an updo, with my chapel-length veil clipped in at the top of my head, not underneath, as I will be wearing the blusher part of the veil over my face when walking down the aisle. I am leaning toward having a softly back-combed beehive-style updo, a la the below pic. I’ve posted a couple of alternatives that I like as well, and also a picture of me trying on my dress for the first time, for your reference. Please vote for your favourite hairstyle using the poll! Thank you! 😀

You are beautiful. Your dress is beautiful. You can pull off any of these styles. I like the 3rd pic.

While the beehive looks great with a veil, I’m not a fan of it without. I think the 2nd and 3rd give a softer feel that matches your style as well!
You’re stunning!

Ooh, your dress is so pretty and looks so great on you! I’d go with style #2.

#2 is my favourite, I’d be worried that #3 would be too tight and coil-y.

whytneynicole : beautiful dress, you look so elegant. Why not search for brunette updo’s I think you’ll find much more choice this way where you will be able to visualise your own hair colour and style. X

They are all so pretty! I can’t decide. I almost picked picture #3 just because of the clip and then I read the poll that said “minus clip”

I love the second, the soft curled French twist. I find that the skirt of your dress is really soft , romantic & feminine and that the soft curls in that hair style would really go well!!

Wow, I love your dress! So beautiful!
I picked #2, but I also really like #3. I like that they’re a more soft, romantic style. I think that fits your dress better than the stiff formality of the first look.
But you would definitely be able to pull off any of the styles and look beautiful!
