    Ooh, I definitely say veil #1 especially looking at that dress.  Veil #2 looks much cheaper especially with the different lengths and no trim.

    PolkaDotBandit:  This! My grandma made my veil, and it cost me $12 in tulle fabric and thread for the embroidered edge. She made it in one evening (not much trouble for her at all). I got loads of compliments on it, too! So if you have a talented mom who sews, ask her to do it!

    So I’m biased. Just throwing that out there. But I say – go for option 1! I’m wearing my grandmother’s cathedral length veil. All of my female relatives have or will also wear the veil. It’s an heirloom piece, and I love it. Not many girls want to wear their mother’s wedding dress, but veils can be amazing pieces to pass down. If you love it, I say, go for it!
