I recently went dress shopping and was surprised to find not one but two dresses that seemed to be “it”. My Maid/Matron of Honor and I thought the Maggie Sottero Vienna was the one at the store, and even the sales woman was all ooh and aah about it. However, after getting home and thinking it over, my love for it has cooled to a “maybe we’re just great friends after all” kind of feeling.
My thoughts have begun to focus more on another dress that I didn’t think was good for me since it had a colored band right at my waist (not my favorite feature), and the appliques seemed too large for my short frame (weird thought but there it is). Maid/Matron of Honor and sales lady said had it not been for the Vienna, they would have picked this dress (forgot the designer and name) as their favorite. I showed another close friend the pics, and she said this second dress made her tear up and was “the one.”
Unlike most others here, I have not really felt that I have a dream dress, so it’s hard for me to make a decision between two that I consider equally gorgeous. Any comments would surely be appreciated! Thanks so much.

first one! clean and elegant.

I like the first one, but think a slight sweetheart alteration to the neckline would make it perfect!

I really love how the first one is so clean and elegant. it really flows. The second one is pretty but I find the applique to make your eye kind of jump around. The fist ones looks better on you in my opinion.
It really is about how you feel in it though!! If you dont really feel special, I suggest to keep looking. There are so many dresses out there within reasonable price and you never know what you will find. I was very open to trying on many different styles and found one in a princess style which is not what I originally wanted but it fit me well and I felt great in it. Keep an open mind.

They’re both pretty, but the 1st one has something about it that made me say “wow!” It looks just a bit more bridal, IMO.

Definitely the first! And I’m with PP on the sweetheart neckline alteration. That’d really top it off!

Number one… it’s really pretty and looks awesome on you!

I prefer the Maggie Sottero Geneva (second one) since it makes you look more proportional somehow. Also, since it is a popular dress, you can probably buy it used, for example: http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/48151/Maggie-Sottero-Geneva-J1367-Size-12.html

I voted for #1 because it’s more classic, but they both look fabulous on you!
