@RaeBee:  I have to add: your dress and your figure both remind me a bit of sofiekitty–not sure if you know who that is, but she had her dress (which originally had a similar shape to yours) altered so that it was more of a classic mermaid, so tight all the way to her knees. It really showed off her tiny shape well, so maybe you could think about that if you feel like your shape is getting lost? @RaeBee:  Your current dress is my favorite, I think it looks great on you and will go really well with your venue!  I ended up purchasing a second dress, and trying to sell my first one has been harder than I anticipated, so I’d say avoid that if possible. πŸ™‚

No question, #4!!! I love a-line and ballgown though so I could be biased, but it is the best dress out of the 4 in my opinion! πŸ™‚

@RaeBee:  I actually really like #2, but think your current dress is a very very close second and I don’t think it’s worth the hassle and the loss to try to sell it. It’s beautiful and you picked it for a reason! Sure, there is always some outside influence but you likely wouldn’t have said yes to it in the first place if you didn’t really love it!

@RaeBee:  No problem, I also love the dress you had as an option for a reception dress. If you want to do that, I think that is a great choice πŸ™‚ Definitely a party dress, but still bridal!

I was really surprised when I voted that #4 was not in the lead – its a complete show stopper to me! The complaint that it doesn’t show off your figure is nonsense – it is so completely obvious that you have a gorgeous figure in it. You seriously look like a friggen princess in it πŸ™‚ And that material… so stunning. Just.. wow πŸ™‚

I’m not adverse to dress-switching when it’s clear that there’s a better option out there, but out of the ones you’ve posted – I honestly prefer to your original gown. It fits beautifully, the lace is gorgeous and it just looks more expensive than the other ones. Perhaps you could go for the tea-length JA as it’s very different to the Pronovias, and would be easier to move around/dance in after the ceremony?
