have you considered getting a replica of your dream dress? it’s a totally affordable option and i’m sure you’d be happy with the results

The ones that come to mind:

Sottero and Midgley Tracy

Enzoani Dakota

Enzoani Diana (love!)

Martina Liana 346.

All of these were top contenders for me, but ultimately I chose something TOTALLY different, but I adore all of these!

@Minny:  OMG, my mom cried when I put on Tracy too! And she’s NOT a crier at all.  Of all the dresses I tried on, that one was honestly, objectively the most flattering on me by a landslide, but I didn’t get that happy feeling from it.

I don’t recall the bottom of Tracey flaring out at all, I thought it was flowy but not full like a true mermaid.  But, if it is you can always have some of the underneath crinoline removed to make it lay flatter.

Good luck!

Marisa has the most beautiful lace mermaid dresses. She doesn’t advertise on her website or in magazines to help keep costs down, so you’ll need to shop in store. There are pictures on the website of real-life brides in dresses though. My own lace trumpet was PoB, but you can’t get those anymore 🙁

Hi Minny.  I’m getting married this month and my dress is a lace mermaid style – it’s called White One Tango by Pronovias?  See below pic.  I’ve actually had the neckline altered to a subtle sweetheart and I think it makes the dress!

@Minny:

Take a look at pronovias Diango and ask a dress maker to take off the straps. I think it could be what you are looking for 🙂
