I wore Nina electra all day and night without any problems.  They’re usually about $90 and come in tons of colors.  I was lucky and found mine in white for $30.

@khaleeesi:  I’d say look for something with a thicker heel instead of a skinny heel……those are usually more comfortable!

You can always add inserts into the heels to make them more comfortable as well

I suggest looking on Zappos b/c they offer free shipping and free returns so if you get them and they aren’t comfy then you can return them……they don’t ask any questions

I see you are against wedges but wedges are usually way more comfy than heels IMO

Here are a few on Zappos

@pinkshoes:  I wore Nina Electra as well – and absolutely loved them. They were comfortable, but I’m used to wearing tall heels, so please keep that in mind. If you never wear heels and think that you are going to be comfortable in 4″ heels for several hours, you need a wake-up call.

I think you need to find a balance between what YOU are comfortable in and in a style that you love.

I say you need a platform and a well made shoe. My most comfortable pair are Giuseppe. I dont know who can find you a pair that is comfortable bc what may feel okay to one person could be painful for another. Some people say Jessica Simpsons are comfortable but I disagree. I do like Boutique 9s for a less expensive shoe. I am about 5′
