Hello lovely bees,
So, I’ve found myself in a pickle. My initial plan was to let my bridesmaids pick there own dresses, they’re all very different shapes so it seemed illogical to put them in the same dress. However, I then discovered the fact that if I let them pick ANY cocktail length dress that I’ll have a weird hodgepodge of colors. I was pretty (very) unhappy with the selection at David’s bridal. so I checked out Alfred Angelo and was a leaning that direction and then I waffled over to the Dessy wrap dress until I read that it apparently they do not look so good on/in pictures (sad).
So then I was back to Alfred Angelo, specifically their crinkle chiffon, except I wasn’t 100% on those (I mean, $200 seemed like too much), and now they appear to no longer exist?
ANYWAY, long story short (too late) I’m trying to find cocktail length red dresses (similar to Dessy’s claret and Alfred Angelo’s now extinct Red Delicious (I think it’s claret now too)) that are under $200 and come in more the 5 styles. So, anyone? I’m starting to feel like a crazy person.

I noticed that those dresses were gone as well! We had been looking at a couple of those, but when I went back to check them last week they were no more! Frustrating eh? Have you looked at their other styles? We are now considering some of their satin dresses – every one has the same colour and length, but just different styles.

@adnama: That’s a good idea, I’m still reeling that those dresses are gone I guess I’m not thinking super rationally lol (ok, I’m being a drama queen, ignore me) I’ll have to go back to the store when I have a chance, the wesite just doesn’t help me remember what they looked like.

Try the two birds look. Maybe a convertable dress will work for your girls. Nordstroms carries this line too. I’m not sure about price on this.
Cache is a store I LOVE. it has beautiful dresses from reasonably priced to expensive. But check their website

J. Crew’s gowns come in a variety of styles and you can almost always either get them on sale through the website or get a discount code on the J. Crew Afficionada blog (check the right column for current codes).
If you just look at the dresses, the sale stuff doesn’t always show up. You often have to go directly to the sale section. There are bridesmaid dresses selling for $40 there. Plenty under $200.
