So I’m getting married 10/1/11 and I cannot settle on a color palette. I thought I was doing burnt orange and chocolate, but the more I see it, the more I hate burnt orange. We haven’t chosen anything with color yet, except we have purchased ivory whitewashed lanterns for part of the centerpieces for long tables. The wedding is a destination fall wedding in New Hampshire. I’d like to stick to at least something”fallish” since we are going to New Husband for the foliage! Any suggestions for me?

Hmm what about using the chocolate color with either a nice dark red or green? You could use the red and brown primarily and throw in a small hint of dark green to accent the other fall colors.

I’ve seen some cute things done with chocolate brown and a pale green…that’d be cute and not clash with the scenery…

Have you looked into purple. I think it looks really pretty with natural fall colors…
Here’s a color palate I found for fall. Obviously you wouldn’t use all of them and you don’t need to use the exact colors but it gives you an idea.
I’m getting married next October and I got so hung up on the fall colors. At first I was going to do orange but am also starting to hate it. Finally I decided to go with cream colored flowers with green and purple accents (like eucalyptus) and the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses will probably be somewhere around the area of rose and gold. We’ll see what looks good on the girls.
Hope this is helpful.

Jewel tones have been really popular for fall weddings the past few years, so you should be able to find lots of inspiration via a google image search.
However, more and more colours are becoming less ‘seasonal’ and more theme-oriented or personal-faves rule.
Hope you figure it out!

I have this great new business for invitations. I design it and you print it and arrange it as you want. It’s 50/50 so you don’t have to feel so much pressure to be super creative, yet you can make sure it it what you want.
And because you print yourself the price is low and it is not depending on the number of invitations needed.

Have fun through the process, it is awesome to get married!
