Please, if you have time, go over my list of needs for our baby. The baby is due November 5th. Please let me know if I am missing anything I will definitely want/need. Or if there is something on here that I will not need! Thank you so much bee’s! You are all awesome!
Our first big purchases in September are going to be:
Nursery Furniutre set, Convertable Crib, Dresser and changing table
Angelcare sound and motion monitor
Glider and Ottoman
Car seat. (Sister gave us my 4 year old neices, I just am leary using it).
Then its onto the essentials.
Boudreaux’s Butt Paste
Changing pad/ Cover
Washable Nursing Pads
Bottles- Glass? (Drying grass and bottles are in case of emergencies and I need them)
Toiletry Kit; Thermometer, aspirator, nail clippers, comb
Crib Sheet/ Breathable Bumper ( Mother is making quilt, crib skirt and window treatments)
3 fabric drawers for 3 cubbies in changing table
Swaddling Blankets/ Wraps for sleeing
and that is my list so far.
We have some newborn pieces of clothing and 3 month pieces. We are waiting for him to get here so we know how big he is before we go buy more clothes. 🙂 I also have some blankets, bibs, burp clothes already. My mom sent his first care package. 🙂

I might have missed it, but maybe a sling or other baby carrier that you wear?

I would get something to use as a basinette or temporary sleeping arrangment when you first get home. I know in my house I will not want to be going up and down the stairs at least the first few days, and I also want to have the baby next to me for a few weeks in our room so we are using the Rock N Play Sleeper. It got great reviews, has multiple uses, and is easy to move from room to room.

Stroller? Also, check the laws re: car seats. Obviously, it likely differs from state to state/different countries, but here in Canada car seats technically expire 5 years after they are manufacutred. (Federal Transportation safety law). Looks like you’re pretty organized! Good Luck!

List looks great!
I would suggest a HydraSense Nasal Aspirator. The little bulb ones don’t work this best. This, may seem gross, but you suck it, like a straw to get the little boogers out (don’t worry there is no way you can get them in your mouth! lol). It works amazingly!

– White noise machine/sleep sheep
– Side snap shirts (supposedly easier to put on newborn and better for umbilical cord healing than onesies)
– Extra crib sheet (for when one’s in the wash)
– Nightlight (so you can feed/change diapers in relative darkness)
– Small table for next to glider

ok ladies, great ideas! I should have mentioned, we have a night light x2, we have a pack and play, i have 2 slings, looking into an ergo carrier tho. We have newborn and size one diapers.
We are not sure yet if we want a stroller. My niece is 4 and has never sat in a stroller. lol,we arent sure we are going to need one, but if we do we can order it and have it in 2 days.
And this list is basically what we need when we get home with the baby. Just so one of us isnt running out in the middle of the night because we frogot something.
Thank you ladies, The Bee rocks!

The ergo carrier for sure. It was the best baby item I owned hands down. Loved it. Everyone should get one.
