Trying to decide how much cake to get. Our guest list is 110 (plus 3 who we can’t seem to track down). The wedding cake serves 64 (not including top tier which we are saving. We can get a half sheet- 12 by 18 which serves 25-30 ($33) or small full sheet 15 by 22 which servies 40-50 ($45). We are only having white cake. We want to make sure everyone who wants cake gets some, but we also do not want tons of leftover cake. What percent eat cake?

If you want everyone to have cake, get one slice per guest. You can always give away any leftovers. If the cake is good, you shouldn’t have any problem getting rid of it.

Are you having any dessert for your dinner? This might be a deciding factor, because if you are get less cake because people don’t need that much sweets. But if your not I would get enough for everyone, personally.
I went to a wedding last year and I have a major sweet tooth, they didn’t serve dessert so I was waiting for the cake…but they ran out, I was sad!

i think i’ve heard that 75% of the guests will eat cake…i know it’s tough though bc its my worst nighmare to not have enough! the cost difference for you between the half and full is not much though is if your % is less than half with the half i would go for the full.
