I think it looks really good so far!  The top could use a little something.  I think a few white/green flowers would look cute.  You could also do some kind of beaded ribbon or something at the base of each layer?  I don’t really know, it’s super cute though!

Did you wrap it with paper or fabric?

I think it looks great, but your cake should have a cake topper.  A flower or bow in white or green would look nice.

I love it!  I have the same boxes I just bought Tuesday night to do mine!  I’m trying to decide how I want to decorate it still though.  I thought I wanted to use scrapbook paper, but I don’t want a bunch of lines on the boxes.

Did you feel like the 3 boxes were the right size?  I’m debating on whether to use the 2 smaller ones, or all 3.  I am also concerned about putting the card slot on the side, because I’m worried the cards won’t go in and fall down all the way.  I’m a worry wart about it right now.  Goodness.

I agree with everyone that a bow or some flowers would be really pretty.  I instantly imagined this cake topper when I saw your box:

Oh, what did you use on the rims of the lids?  Is that just tissue paper under the ribbon?

That looks great! I think since the top box is pink, you should do something with green to balance out the color scheme.

@sara – Oh!  That green and white on the edges is the ribbon!  I thought for some reason only the smaller ribbon was actual ribbon and the background was something else.  I like it!

It’s going to look great!  Be sure to post a photo of it with the topper!

Ooooh see other people are reading it like a tiered cake, and I’m reading it like a tiered gift. It’s super pretty! I was picturing a big thick ribbon going up either side and tying on top.

Like this, but with wider ribbon and a bigger fancier kind of bow.

I love it! you did a great job! I agree it does need a topper. Maybe you could used some faux flowers or ribbon kind of like those ones you get on gifts?

So great!!!

I think a big flower on the top would look PERFECT and pull the whole thing together!

I love them! If it were mine I would maybe put some pearly or crystal dots in a vertical line down the top and bottom boxes like buttons πŸ™‚

I agree about adding a little something at the base of each layer & something on the top.  It’s SUPER cute, but perhaps could use maybe a bit more texture.  Have you looked at those “pom pom” ribbons (if that’s what their even called) or some beaded strands?
