Hoping you might be able to help a girl out! I fell in love with an etsy dress but she’s booked out for the rest of the year. I can’t get it out of my head.. The tulle in the skirt, I die! I don’t particularly like the front of the dress though (if anyone has seen it!) as I think when the girls would move, you might be able to see their nipples because it is so gapey… So, I’m going down the custom route and am having them made.. But what to do with the front? Inspiration pictures would be wonderful!!
Here’s the back:
Thanks in advance!!

@hellosunshine: I know a mum who actually used this same inspiration photo to make her daughter’s Flower Girl dress for my friend’s wedding.
Here’s what the front looked like – the pearl embellishments (not the actual dress):
Someone asked her how she made it, and she explained that she sewed little fabric rosettes onto this elastic net material and then tied the long strips of tulle to the bottom until it was huge enough.
Sorry…I had to post this creepy doll photo. Here’s the real fabric:

@MlleFabuleux: thanks so much for your input- very much appreciated =) I love the idea of the headbands, they are gorgeous! I’m thinking I’ll either do one of those or get a floral headpiece made by the florist.

So, I’ve done a bit of photoshop and came up with this:
What do you think?

@hellosunshine: Um, that’s awesome. And I was just lamenting how much I’m hating trying to pick flower girl dresses, because I’m not a white-dress bride. I love the one that you picked from Etsy. Who’s the seller? (I have until March of next year!)

@mrsem2bee: Aw! Thanks.. I think it’s pretty awesome too! I’ve spent ages putting it off because although I loved, loved the back, there was just something about the front that I didn’t like. But with a bit of photoshopping, now I do!!
She’s a seller called frillsfromtop2bottom.. Unfortunately she’s already booked until July 2014 and is just starting to consider August. Crazy right? I was stalking her for months cause she was on maternity leave, but as soon as she was back- this happened =( So I’ve contacted Jasmines Bridal to see if they will custom make it for me, and it’s looking good so far!! They’re getting back to me with a quote, maybe it’d be worth a shot for you too?
What colour is your gown?
