I need some help from the ‘bee. I tried on these three jim hjelm dresses at a trunk sale, and I love all three. They are so different, so I need some input. They are 8912, 8002 and 8962. The first one is really “bridal” and wedding-y and somewhat classic (note: zipper was broken), the second one is flowy and beautiful and the third is really my style and lace-y. We are having an outdoor ceremony and a fancy reception if that helps. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

The second one is absolutely GORGEOUS!! That got my vote. But you said the third one is mostly your style. I think you should go with the one that is closest to your style and what you feel like represents YOU!

I personally love the first one but you said that the third is more your style so you should go with one that is your style!

I love the second one…the third one looks so stiff to me. The second one is romantic and gorgeous, and very bridal.

thanks ladies! i should also add that i LIKE the second one the best on me, and i do love the bridalness of the first one… so it isn’t that i’m leaning towards #3. thanks for the honest responses! 🙂

Hi!! I love number #1 on you. It has such clean lines and looks really elegant. Personally, I don’t really like #2 at all. I do the love the idea of lace for a garden wedding though, like you have for #3. I think #3 looks great on you too! I think if you feel this is more your style you should def go with #3. 🙂

First of all, all three dresses look good on you so kudos to you for that! 🙂
I usually lean towards the lace options for these type of votes, but for this one I am going with dress # 2. It is so fun and flirty! I think dress #1 could be a happy medium between 2 & 3 in that it is structured in the front (like # 3) but flowy and lacey in the back. Not sure if this helped at all.

I like #1 and #3. If #1 is more “you,” clearly that’s the dress! It will be lovely (and probably better than #1) for an outdoor wedding.

- Wedding: May 2011 - Bartram's Garden
I like the first best, and then the third. The second one is just too much in my opinion.

@nighthawk:Were you at Wedding Angels in Roswell? I love #1 and #2. #2 is one of my favorite dresses and I love the back on #1. I think either of them will work great for your venues. However, I am voting #1 because it is more classic. #2 is definitely going to show its age in a couple years–although I never wanted to take it off!

I like the first, BUT you should choose the one that fits your personality best!

@Georgia Bee: yep! they were really nice:)

I think #1 is more “flowy and beautiful” than #2 for sure! ;-P The front is so classic and lovely, and the back? I gasped!! I love the way that layer of flowy, lacey material just floats around the clean structure of the dress. I also agree that #3 looks rather stiff. I dislike a harsh sash like #2 has, and I don’t think the look of the dress really flows together. Something totally different going on on top, then suddenly chopped off into the ruffles. #1 is stunning and looks great on you!

Number One is on my list of dream dresses that I could never afford. It is a stunning dress. However, you look awesome in akll of them. I definitely vote for Number Three because you say that it is the most your style, and it is a gorgeous dress. You can’t lose no matter which you pick!

I love the first one. You look great!
