I’m exhausted! I need help from the bees. I’m planning a wedding with 1000 guests (I know, I know, its crazy!). That being said, my budget is very low so I’m looking for a banquet/rental hall that will allow me to bring my own food and alcohol to help save money because hotels are too expensive since they charge per person. PLEASEEEE give me any suggestions in the DMV – DC, Md, Va area. I need YOU!
Also, if you all can spare…please share names of CHEAP event planners, florists, and decorators…please? 🙂

I wish you luck! Maybe see about renting part of a park and getting a tent? Anything budget friendly in the DMV may not be able to accomodate that many people. What about looking into some vineyards?

I suggest you contact a convention planner for suggestions. Most cities have a Tourist Bureau or Convention planning department whose sole purpose is to assist in convention planning. They will likely have a database of venues with that large a capacity.

Ditto the convention planner suggestion. Not many standard venues are big enough to accommodate that many people. Maybe google hotels that have an attached convention hall?
It may also be a good idea to hold off on setting a date until you are able to determine a venue big enough to accommodate your wedding is available on that date. Since there are few sites that can accommodate that many people they could be booked out years in advance for conventions and conferences.
