If you do different levels, the fact that she’s sitting won’t be distinct. Trust your photographer to figure it out.

My sorority pledge class photo years and years ago, all of us in our dresses at initiation, was some standing, some sitting, lots of different levels — and it takes a minute to notice that one of the girls is in a wheelchair.

If she doesn’t mind, you could always take some posed pictures on some pretty couches or chairs and have her on the couch or chair if she’s worried about the wheelchair being in the pictures. I’d also do something like the picture PP posted. Just make sure she’s comfortable but I wouldn’t put too much emphasis or focus on her being in a wheelchair. Just have her photographed just like any other bridesmaid.

That’s about the only advice I have. My cousin was in an accident last year that has left her paralyzed from the waist down. It takes some getting used to but she just likes to be treated the same as everyone else. I would just let your bridesmaid know that it doesn’t matter to you that she is in a wheelchair and to just have fun with it and not to worry 🙂
