@emilygrace07:  Ditto

And when you return. you move your stuff out of the place you share with your Boyfriend or Best Friend and move on. You deserve much better and you never know, you might fight love with this guy but just dont marry him yet.

@futuremrsk18:  I just think that she talks “funny” because English isn’t her first language.

I’ve been followning this thread from the beginning – where did she say that?

And why does her post count matter…?

For all those commenting on the post count I have seen that before when people posted in classifieds it counts here too. That could explain the weird post count.

And for the record I think this is a variation on the Pretty Woman story.

@futuremrsk18:  People do that all the time. Even here on WB. Because they’re bored.

This seems a little Shades of Grey to me…but very interesting.

@futuremrsk18:  People do it quite a bit unfortunately, they’re called trolls.

When I was with my ex-fiance I was a part of another forum full of women that was a military spouse support forum and there was a girl who we all swore was real. Until one day she posted that just seemed a bit too odd for real life. She had a Facebook account, pictures up, and even family members.

When a few of the board moderators did some research they found that in fact, the pictures were simply brought up on a Google search, INCLUDING some of an ultrasound since she was “pregnant”. Her entire Facebook was compiled of a bunch of bogus pictures, she made up fake accounts for her “family members” that she had listed on her profile, and she even went as far as to have a fake phone number.

One of my good friends had spoken with her on the phone, but after we all started questioning her and asking for an explanation, her profile on FB disappeared, her profile on the forum vanished, and her phone number was disconnected.

It’s sad what people do for attention.

The post count thing was cleared up earlier in the thread.

She will probably come back with pictures taken from google for this fantasy engagement. Someone’s either taking the piss or has made it up and believes it’s real. Either way it’s been very funny lol

@StormyRose:  I also wondered if perhaps she was a “Pretty Woman.”

@PacificMrs:  Yep, we had this happen several times on an old forum I posted on. One person did this over and over, actually. This was before Facebook was open to anyone but college students, though.

@PacificMrs:  Wow, that situation sounds very similar to the movie Catfish.  I recommend seeing it.  It shows how a woman did this and is based on a true story.  One word:  CREEPY.

If this is not true, someone has way too much time on their hands.  If it is true, I wish the best to the OP and I hope she takes it slow with “Mr. Proposal”.

@Regina Phalange:  She said it in one of the posts that English isn’t her first language when there was talk about her grammar.

And I don’t know why it matters, but everyone was making her post and thread count a big deal!  I’m confused about that, as well!

@PacificMrs:  OMG.  That’s completely bizarre.  But, I guess I can understand if someone is trying to live a fantasy life.  Maybe she just had a really sad miserable life she was trying to escape.  I almost feel sorry for her.
