I would do white for sure.  Rose gold and unenhanced moissy don’t work for me.  White metal will keep the stone whiter, since there is no warmth to reflect into the stone.

eta: that looks beautiful on your hand πŸ™‚

It looks beautiful! I don’t have a halo, but here’s my EW oval in brushed rose gold, so maybe you can get an idea of how it might look (one in natural light, one indoors). I’m very happy with the rose gold. ETA: mine is FB, so I guess that’s enhanced?

Debbiestelle:  I’d go with white gold if you want the stone to “melt” into the setting like you had said. I have an unenhanced RB moissanite. Its very white for unenhanced, and its set it rose gold. All the other stones in it are moissainte though, instead of diamonds.. Then again, I like the contrast between the rose gold and moissanite

Debbiestelle:  lol, it has taken a long time to build up my collectiion.  I have had a mix of unenhanced and FBs.  I am not a fan of the warmth, so unenhanced was too much for me, and when I had FBs in rose gold, it was too much for me too.  I ended up selling that stone and putting the morganite in that setting.  Mine were OECs, and they are a warmer cut, but the ovals are too.  So that is why I think you shoudl go wth white.  πŸ˜‰

I think sometimes you wll see contrast with the halo stones and the oval, but when the lighting is better they will match most of the time.  πŸ˜‰

I had my oval moissy set with palladium claw prongs to increase the whiteness of the stone– the trick worked great! Since the claw prongs come over the face of the stone, all the silvery whiteness of the metal gets reflected right into the stone. My color stays white in all but the worst lighting.

Here’s a couple pictures I’ve had saved for a long time, thought they may help you. Top pic is of a forever brilliant oval moissanite and the bottom pic is a unenhanced oval moissanite. Both have H/si diamond halos and are 14k rose gold ,From studio1040 on etsy.
