As for the color – not at all like white or cream.

I wouldn’t be offended at all if you wore that to my wedding. I say go for it!

Honestly, I voted no because it is pretty close. If you wore it my wedding I wouldn’t care and it sounds like a lot of other PPs wouldn’t care either. I think this is really dependent on the bride’s personality. Do you think she would be upset?

Otherwise, I don’t think anyone really cares what you wear to a wedding and no one remembers. The only hope I would have is that people follow the dress code and don’t show up in jeans.

I agree with arielle. I think it’s kind of close, but personally I would not be offended.

I wore a dress very similar in color (maybe sliiiiightly more pink) to a wedding last summer and in person it looks no where close to white/ivory/wedding dress-like.  I say go for it, it’s really cute.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it’s lovely ๐Ÿ™‚ You can always team it with a darker bag / shoes and it will not look so light!

To those who voted no.  Do you think it looks to close to a bridal gown?

The spirit of the no white rule is that you shouldn’t be trying to upstage the bride.  I don’t see a light pink, short, with dark trim detail to be similar to any wedding gown I have ever seen, and the wearer certainly wouldn’t be upstaging the bride.

I am really interested in this.  No snark at all intended.
