Honestly i know it is overdone for a lot of people in the U.S, but i had an amazing experience at Davids Bridal in Scarborough (Eglinton/Pharmacy) They have so many styles and colours to choose from. I ended up going for one of the white by vera wang dresses in champagne

If you are not on a tight budget i also reccomend checking out Ritche’ bridal on Avenue road. They had some amazing dresses, but they were out of the price range that we wanted to spend in general.

Try BCBG, they have a lot of cocktail dresses that could be used as Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. JCrew, Ann Taylor, can’t think of anymore off the top of my head.

I would second JCrew.

Also, if you find something that suits all of you from a bridesmaids’ line, order your dresses from Netbride.com. They were great and they shipped directly to my office in Toronto. Way, way cheaper as well.

I used Henkaa wrap dresses for ours – we loved that everyone got to customize their style and they all looked amazing. We chose charcoal grey, but the dresses come in a bunch of different colours. This is what ours looked like:

Although we didn’t end up going with them because of size issues (one of my bridesmaids is a 32), Tiffany at Best for Bride on Sheppard and Bathurst was a total gem.

We’d had a horrid time looking for dresses that weekend, and she made it all better.  BUT – ask to make the appointment with her.

Trust me on that one.

RW & Co has a bridesmaid line and they’re super cute!  The only issue is that they only have up to size 12, maybe 14, so if you need to accommodate for some larger sizes, this wouldn’t work.
