My birthday is on New Year’s Eve. People bail. A lot of people bail. I recommend the may. It sounds a thousand times more romantic and picturesque anyway 🙂

I like the May wedding. I love outside pictures and I wouldnt want to wait to NYE 2014. I also, as a guest, wouldnt want to give up my regular NYE to have to travel out of my area (NJ/NYC).

Our first two choices were NYE and xmas eve.

We decided not to go with either because we didn’t want to mess up peoples holidays.

Also, there are alot of accidents/cops on NYE, didn’t want my guests to deal with that.

And, lots of folks usually do their own thing for NYE.

I’m going the opposite route. I say live it up! New Years Eve! He’ll never forget your anneversary!

… Though then again, if you end up getting a divorce, you will have ruined that night for yourself, like forever after… 🙁

Hmmm… Spring may be better… just weather wise.

Ok, I’m torn and don’t know what advice to give. I go now.

@dancindavinci:  I love the idea of a NYE wedding!! Sounds fun. I see ppl point about it being a holiday so I does depend on how many people youre inviting and how much if matters to you if some people can’t make it. I wouldn’t care but my guest list is 8. Anyway I think you can go wrong with either way. Just depends on what you want.

I’d recommend you search some photographers blogs for spring and NYE weddings and see which look/feel appeals to you the most. I know Creative Soul shot a NYE 2012 wedding. See it here.
