Are you 100% positive you’re not starting your period? That’s kind of what it sounds like to me…glad you’re getting a professional opinion though!

@AwkwardQuestions:  It could be that you didn’t lose your hymen when you thought you did ETA I’ve never heard of loosing it because of a heavy flow, I am pretty sure that that’s not even possible.  Or he could have nicked you with a fingernail.

Definitely good you’re going to see the doc, but try not to worry too much!

@pinkshoes:  This is a good point.  I had the same problem, had light bleeding for three weeks on the pill.  The changed to a higher dose.

@londonchick:  Sometime’s it’s used for painful periods or regulating them not just contraception.

Your cycle may not be regulated yet so it could easily be menstrual loveliness. You can’t do anything till you see the Dr. so unless you get in even earlier I would just monitor and maybe take some notes to describe the colour/thickness of discharge and try to keep busy otherwise.

Good luck.

You’re fine. I really really really doubt you’re “cut”. But birth control has a zillion side effects and bleeding from it is 100% normal. You probably just need to change your dose. You’re not going to get an infection. You’re fine. 🙂 Ask the doctor, but don’t freak out. Its really unlikely there’s anything wrong.

You probably just got a small abrasion. It happens. Don’t worry about infection– your body will take care of itself. Just watch for anything else unusual. 🙂
