@jayveebee:  I like the round halo better.  simple and classic.  it will still be in style in 40 years πŸ™‚

I think that combination would look great together, and would match especially well if you did the knife edge without the milgrain effect. Would love to see the pics if you do have it made! I think it’s good to go with your style. If you do it just to be different that’s something else, but if it’s what you love them you’ll still be loving it in decades to come.

I like the first one πŸ™‚ I think it would work with the knife edge, but I’d do that without the pave. You could do milgrain instead if you want an extra pop, the pav would be a little much for me though.

You love halos, but they’re super common in your circle of friends? I wouldn’t care if a ring is common or unique: pick what YOU like, you’re the one who has to wear it.

I would go for a Winston Belle look: doesn’t look that common to me and it’s a very classic design.

Love it!  If you like unique(as do I)~you could always go with a colored gem or colored diamond.

So great you get to design your ring…but that does come with lots of decisions! I’m currently having my wedding band custom-made πŸ˜‰

I love the knife edge, wider shank for sure. And art-deco is awesome. Have you looked at other art-deco-types of halos? I know I like the hexagone halo…perhaps with the cushion stone πŸ™‚

Keep us updated on your choices!

I will add Milk and Honey’s ring because I love it so much and it’s an original halo while being vintage as well. Check this beauty out!

I love it!  I would do all or none with the milgrain though, and kepp the shank a bit thinner, like 2.5mm.  It looks like 3mm in the picture and it is too big for the halo I think.

I think I would like it more if the halo had more rounded corners and if the band wasn’t as wide.
