I have timed my wedding ceremony and from beginning of my celebrant speaking, to the kiss is a leisurely 5mins. I know this is likely to be about 10 minutes on the day, but that to me is still too short.
OUr theme is vintage international travel if that helps to get the ball rolling. we’re not into lovey-dovey readings, but any readings that might be fun and quirky (eg we may have a short reading from the Princess Bride) and we’re not at all religious.
Just need a few things to flesh it out a little..

Does “from celebrant speaking” mean from the moment finish walking down the aisle, or does this the celebrant’s welcome to everyone, you walk down the aisle, ceremony, kiss, etc. only take 10 minutes? I understand you want the ceremony (the important part of the day), to be worthwhile, but it doesn’t have to be too long.
I imagine it would take longer than 10 minutes – when saying your vows (even if they’re not the long-winded sort), the celebrant says a line, you repeat it, then celebrant says the next line, on and on. Then repeat the process for your fiance/husband, which should take a good 5-10 minutes on its own!
Obviously you can flesh it out with a reading or two, and maybe get the celebrant to do a little speech about how you met, how you guys are perfect for each other, etc.? That tends to go down well at weddings 🙂 Then you’ve got to sign the marriage certificate before the kiss (walking slowly and solemnly from one place to the next).
Keep in mind that your guests will have arrived a good 15 minutes before you did, so don’t drag it out too long! The less time you spend on the ceremony, the more time you have to mingle with guests (and you won’t have to be as rushed for photos!).
