I’m a long time wedding bee boards reader but first time contributor, and I would really appreciate your help!
Long story, my engagement ring is Scott Kay vintage style with scrolling. FH knocked it out of the park, and since the e-ring had a matching wedding band, we went ahead and ordered it… we tried to see a sample first but the jeweler couldn’t find one.
The wedding band came in yesterday, and it is about 0.5 mm less wide than my engagement ring and I don’t like it. I could live with it if I had to, but the scrolling I like so much on my e-ring isn’t as pretty on the wedding ring and I don’t like how it looks on my finger when I wear the wedding band on its own (which is something that is important to me).
So, thank goodness, the jeweler said I could look for a new band and they would take my special order Scott Kay band back. They don’t have much in stock, but told me that if I found something I liked online or at another jeweler they could get it for me.
I went to a bigger jeweler today and fell in love with a wedding band that is totally different than what I thought I would like. I love it on its own and with the e-ring. I took pictures of it in the store, but they’re not that clear, and would love to have a better picture to show the first jeweler. We feel morally obligated to purchase the new wedding band at the first jeweler because they have been nice enough to take back my first one.
Please check out the pictures and let me know what words you would use to describe the band, so I can point my jeweler in the right direction. Thank you so much!
