Since I started wedding planning I had this vision of a bright cobalt/royal blue with lime green and white for accent colors. The bridesmaids just recently got their blue dresses and I figured it would really pop if they carried lime and white bouquets. As for my bouquet, some combo of the white, green, and blue. Then for the reception I was thinking of putting blue table linens and possibly lime and white centerpieces (and maybe some blue flowers-delphinium, hydrangea, and a bluer iris are choices). So yeah, that’s my idea and I love it!
THE ISSUE: The ceremony is going to be outside and i really really have my heart set on an aisle runner, but they won’t allow cloth runners outside. So another option (and a great one) is flower petals for an aisle. BUT i really don’t think it would look good if i used any of the colors (blue, green or white). None of the colors would really pop on the green grass. Maybe white would, but that just seems so blah to me. I’ve seem some beautiful pics online of aisle petals in peaches, pinks, yellows, oranges, etc and it looks sooo good.
So now I’m wondering…should I try to switch up my original vision and add some of those warmer colors as accents so everything can be tied together? I would still do the blue BM’s dresses (cause already got them) and then i suppose i could still do blue table linens and then have the lime green, white, and ____ as accents in the floral arrangements/bouquets? Does anyone have any pics or ideas they can share?
