- Wedding: September 2013
OK girls I need help. Due to personal reasons Fiance and I have to push our wedding back another year. I’m fine with it. At first I was pretty upset but now I’m thinking OK more time to save money.
So my problem is that our original date was Sept 1, 2012 which is labor day weekend. My family is all out of state and it was nice to spend some extra time with them and not have such a short weekend for them. Since it was still Sept and I really wanted a fall wedding I chose more rustic ideas with a few fall ideas thrown in.
So pushing it back another year puts labor day weekend as August 30, 2013 (Labor Day falls on Sept 1). So will my rustic ideas still work or are people thinking because it’s still August it might be weird.
We could change the date to a Sept day but I like the idea of having a long weekend for guests to enjoy, especially out of state guests who drive over 8 hours.
So do I keep a Labor Day weekend wedding even though its August or do I decide on a later Sept date? Below are some pictures to give you ideas of what we were doing.
My bouquet (which will have red dahlias and orange coxcombs as well as lots of dried grasses. It will be a similar texture as this)
Bridemaids bouquets (theirs will be red sunflowers instead of yellow)
