I like the proportions of the ring you posted.  I have a hard time picturing it with a pear.  Plus, I’m not a huge fan of the pointy end of a pear; I prefer symmetrical shapes. It looks very pretty on you and if your boyfriend likes it, it may be the winner!

I’m personally not a fan of yellow diamonds but I know a lot of people are. If it were me I would definitely go with the smaller white pear. I love dainty rings so the smaller size would be preferable to me.

Do you have a picture of what the pear would look like? Would it be the same ring with the side stones just a different center stone?

josie77 : This ring looks gorgeous on you!  I prefer this shape over the pear shape but it really does come down to personal preference.  Congrats ๐Ÿ™‚

I love pears but the ring you posted looks absolutely perfect  on your hand. It’s well proportioned, unique and absolutely gorgeous! I’d go for the yellow diamond hands down bee!!

I’m always concerned about any rings that can potentially catch on my clothing, so for me, pears and marquises are out, but even at that I LOVE ๐Ÿ˜ the yellow diamond. I’m very much into unique looks, and I think that ring is quite spectacular.

ENJOY whatever you decide!!

The yellow diamond for sure! I personally feels that the yellow diamond ring has more significance and meaning to it since your fiance loves coloured diamonds. It also has a gorgeous uniqueness to it if you want it stand out from the norm and the crowd. It’s breath-taking and it looks really beautiful on your finger!! First option with the yellow diamond for sure! <3

The pear is more simple and classic, yet beautiful. I would choose the pear. For me the yellow ring has too much going on.

Definitely go for the pear. It’s more classical, but it also have a pop of colour that you said your partner likes. I also think that the first option overwhelms your finger a lot.

That yellow diamond is beautiful. I do think it’s very much about personal choice, though, because that ring (and style) looks like it would be larger and more attention grabbing than I would prefer to wear on a daily basis (especially if a wedding band needed to be added as well). The pear is beautiful, so I’d likely go with that one if it’s between those two.
