@Heidibrooke:  Another one would be Benedict, you could still call him Ben like Benjamin but it’s a little less common of a name if you wanted something different.

What about Bob? Jk… Unless you like it. Hmm, Bruce? My dad wanted that name for my lil bro (after Bruce lee) but my mom didn’t like it so they went with Brandon instead 😛  Bane?

@Heidibrooke:  I like the name Blaise, but it is my uncle/godfather’s name so I am partial.

@Heidibrooke:  “plain and common” are not bad. A human being’s name is not the place to get creative.

I really like the name Blaise! It was actually on our list of potential boy names. I like how it’s uncommon but it’s not made up (there is a St. Blaise afterall).

Why can’t you use those names?

I really dislike Blaise. Also, Bennett and Beckett are last names so I don’t like them as first names.

I like Benjamin but out of Blaise and Blaine, I prefer Blaine! Not a big fan of Blaise at all!

I would go with Blaine because Benjamin is very antiquated. My grandfathers name is Benjamin and he only goes by Benny. I’m also not a fan of common names as a first name.

Fiance likes Braxton but I vetoed that one, not a fan. We’re also doing B names, unknowingly at first!

For a boy, Brody, Braeden, Bradey, Becker, Ben, etc.

    I really don’t like Blazer/Blaise

When I first saw Blaise I thought it might be pronounced like blasé…I’m not a fan, sorry!

My brother and his Fiance like the name Benedict. Not really my cup of tea but I thought I throw it out there!
