So…..I’m a Uk bride that has been having dress regret….I am trying my best not to change my dress but am considering changing the neckline to sweetheart, though that would hurt the (tight) budget it’s what Ive always dreamt of. I was wondering does anyone have any pics of someone other than the model wearing this dress?(I am not model size)
I’ve looked everywhere I can and cant find any. It is a 2012 but surely there must be some out there. Please help Bees to settle my buzzing mind. Thank you
The dress is Josephine by Romantica of Devon-My dress is in alterations so no pics……sorry for massive pic x

Don’t have a pic of your dress but here is a pic of a david’s bridal gown with a similar neck with a sweetheart
Not sure if that helps, I like the slight sweetheart with the halter though.

I can’t see any pics at all. But I have been told altering to sweetheart would only cost about $40. Which isn’t bad at all. I don’t know if it’s comparable to the UK price.

Can’t see the pic, but the results when I Googled it show a scalloped neckline, which I really like under those sheer straps. I honestly think it is a beautiful dress the way it is, but of course you should do whatever YOU want. I wonder if you could shop around and find a seamstress who would alter the neckline for a more reasonable price?
Did you try on dresses with sweetheart necklines and like them better than your current neckline? If not, then I would maybe go try some on and see if you really like it better (on you, not just on a model). Maybe seeing that will help you remember why you chose this dress originally.

@vegempanada: I didn’t try on ANY with a sweetheart neckline. My engagement is so short I had to buy off the rack and because I’m bigger none of the dresses had a sweetheart in this town. I only went with my Mum so am thinking I may take my Maid/Matron of Honor out of town on a trying on shopping trip……goodness knows what i’d do if i fell in love with a dress though!
Thats another reason I cant decide, I dont want to be ‘busty’ but the dress seems a little plain in the model picture……nice close up but ‘blah’ from a distance…..thanks for the help

@rushingangel: That sounds difficult. I think that if you can get your Maid/Matron of Honor, it would help ease your mind to see what the neckline would really look like – then you could decide whether you really want to shell out for alterations.
