I so wish I was more creative. When I came here and saw all of the wonderful DIY invites I said I wanna do that but my computer skills were not up to par. So instead I helped/paid someone design my invites. Now it is time to start putting them together and I am freaking out all over again.
What advice can you give me?
What glue should I use to secure the items together? I have read that you should use something that will not make the paper wrinkle.
How do you attaching the bellyband so that it does not tear when opening the pocketfold?
Please and thank you.

Use spray on glue…It comes in most craft shops (looks like a spray can) This will make sure that it doesn’t wrinkle…OR
The other options are photo dots…they are little sticky double sided dots ..these are great for ribbon and other things. They also don’t make a mess 🙂

I bought a tape gun and it was the best investment for wedding crafts. I bought mine at Michaels.

Personally I do not like spray adhesive, it’s Sooo messy. But I used the scotch glue dots. You guy the dispenser once then just refills after that. No new to glue every edge fully. just do around corners and maybe a middle spot. It’ll save glue and no one will know one way or the other. For the belly band you can either glue the ends together and people will slide it off or you can cut two slits and slide the slits together. But frankly your belly band will go right in te trash so some people will rip it no matter how you do it

@ImHungry247: Thank you. I’ll see if I can get that glue gun for 50% off.
@MsJ2theZ: Glue dots. I agree that the spray adhesive sounds kinda messy.
But thank you ladies for your input
