Hi! This was my “encore” dress…tea length & ivory!! My hubby wore khakis and a white shirt πŸ™‚

Please excuse the shoes LOL…i actually kicked off my shoes for the ceremony, we both got married bare foot, and then I had some fancy heels to wear for our little reception afterwards!

As an encore bride I wanted to do something less traditional and less expensive. My SO also didn’t think I should wear all white. So this is what I ended up with.

Keep in mind this was my going-dancing dress, and taken by the people in the party bus.And I was getting tipsy in the second photo.

It was like 5 layers of bridal tulle, plus a petticoat. The bodice was lace with sequins, but you can’t see it in the photos!

@elysion:  Wow!  That is so unique!  Do you know the name of the dress?  Do you mind me asking about about how much did it cost?  It looks like it’s a fortune!

@BrandNewBride:  That’s a sweet dress.  I am thinking about getting a 2nd dress for my reception.  Do you know the name of the dress and about how much it was?  I don’t know how much money I’ll have left in my budget.

@LOLgirl:  It was actually a second-hand dress with no tags! But I found it for $99 on Etsy, and shortened it myself! You could definitely get a used dress off Ebay (or Etsy, or OnceWorn) and get it shortened/sleeves romoved for almost nothing!

@LOLgirl:

@jessyrez:  I *Almost* wore a tea length for my wedding but I changed my mind and got a long dress instead, lol! Just the same here is the one I have (which I am selling for a very reduced price, just in case you’re interested!)

I also got mine on ebay for $99! I just knew my measurements, and if you know what styles look good on you and the seller can tell you the measurements of the dress, you can get a really get a good deal!
