Thank you so much! Do you know your ring size? Someone had posted on here a chart with finger sizes and carat sizes and what percentage of the finger it covered. That might be helpful.

This is not my ring, but a ring I put together and sold back in November. It is a .91 carat cushion seen on a size 4.5 finger.

@WhatMaeBee:  Its micropave- By The Way, I see you live in LI- YOU HAVE TO GO TO GOODOLDGOLD, in Massapequa (the site is goodoldgold.com). TBH, I bought the center cushion on that ring from jamesallen, but if I were designing the ring for myself I would only buy an august vintage cushion from GOG. Most cushion cut diamonds have leakage b/c of the way they are cut but GOG has perfected the art of the cushion cut diamond so it reflects light and sparkles close to the round cut. If anything, atleast visit there store they are so helpful!!

@WhatMaeBee:  Leakage is when light does not reflect properly off the diamond. Instead of hitting the diamond and bouncing back at you with sparkle, it dies within the stone. This happens in MOST fancy shape diamonds.

Here is a video that shows you the modern cut cushion (bottom right corner diamond)- you can tell the leakage best from this vid compared to the august vintage cut (diamond on top left):

*His diamonds are a little more expensive because of the premium cut BUT you can get a way with a lower color grade since the light reflection counteracts the warmth of a lower color stone.
