Where do I begin to tell you what is wrong with the dress: (here are just a few things)
I’m sorry you had such a bad experience with the site. I’ve seen a couple older postings asking about similar websites and no one ever seems to have ordered from them. Were you able to find a replacement dress?
if it cost more than the original dress to get the knock off altered, why didn’t you just get the original? i feel like i’m missing something.
Aww poor little 10 yr old sweat shop dress maker! She tried her hardest and only earned like 50 cents. Lol.
Sorry you had such a bad experience! One of the many reasons I would be afraid to order my dress online.
I was looking for a replica for the Casablanca 1827, and I found dress that was 80% cheaper and could get it to me quicker. (I was in a time crunch) I did get the dress in 20 days as promised but that is the only good thing I can say about it. The dress does not look like the Casablanca, it came rumpled up in a ball in a package about 12inX10in, and the material felt like the price- CHEAP!!! I could see where the material was starting to fall apart.
So I went on the website and read about the 100% refund policy- menaing that you can return the dress in original condition within 7 days (already putting limitations on the refund and that ifthe dress is like how they sent it, they will refund your money 30% of what you paid. Not including shipping and rush charges. I thought “ok, something is better than nothing”. If you look further on their website, it says to not send it back to Chinawhere it came from (What???) but to the company, BUT NO where on the site do they have a mailing address. Everywhere on the site it says “Call us!”, so I did! No answer, just a waste of time. So, I emailed them. This is the email I got from them word for word:
I said; “I want to return my dress and need an address ASAP. Thank you!”
They said: ” Dear Seana, I am sorry to hear that. I will try my best to help you solving this problem. Could you please tell me why you want to return the dress?? thanks wait for your reply”
Like I said, WORD for WORD… that tells me I am not speaking to someone with English as their first language. And also, why are they trying to delay me? I can understand them wanting a reason for the return, no problem but give me the address in the mean time. (I was fooled with the fake great ratings on the site as well) I am sure that I will NOT see any of my money back. I will not postively endorse this company at all. Stay away from dress times!!!!!!
