E-rings or rings in general?

Here are a couple rings I inherited from my grandma:

These were my paternal grandma’s engagement and wedding rings. She wore them on separate hands because they don’t fit together. I am going to have her wedding band reworked (it’s a size 9, I’m a size 3.5 Surprised) to be my own wedding band. This pic was taken before I had them cleaned so they had probably 15-20 years of dust caked on them here, hence the complete lack of sparkle. I need to take some new pics of them…the wedding band especially is sooooo sparkly now. I love it!

I love vintage rings! I found out after I got my ring that I was supposed to get my FI’s great-grandmother’s wedding ring, but it was from the 1800s and my FMIL’s jeweler told her that to resize it down to my size would destroy the ring basically. It was just too old and delicate to withstand the resizing. So I got my non-vintage ring, which I do love, but gosh, that vintage ring of his great-grandmother’s is just so gorgeous. I really love when family rings are handed down like that.

I have posted this several times, but hey, why not again?! 😛 I’ll try to get a different picture as well though.  Anyways, my ring is from the 1930s.  It’s the original band and diamond.  LOVE!

@Kant: i would love to see a pic of the rings after they’ve been cleaned. they are beautiful and have great potential to bling the crap out of anyone’s eyes.
