people tell me mine is unique and where we got it. we actually designed the setting ourselves. you decide for yourselves. many beautiful rings in this post!sorry the photos are so large! 🙁
None of these rings are mine, but they certainly are unusual settings.
I don’t think the setting is so unusual, but i love love love how much interest the small details on this ring add. It’s a perfect mix of bold and delicate.
The flash is on in the last one and that’s why it’s sparkling. It really does sparkle and shine in real life, just not that much! It’s my FI’s grandmothers,it’s a true antique about 75 years old. It was in pieces when he got it years ago and dull and dark. He had it polished and reset before he gave it to me. After that I had the jeweler where I work tighten the prongs and build up the white gold around the setting, he also took the diamonds out and basiclly gave them a deep cleaning and it came out like a new ring, it’s blinding it’s so shiny now. 🙂 The band is platinum and it’s about 1-1.25 ct. total diamonds. They didn’t do really e-rings and bands as much back then, so this 1 ring has it all, I won’t be adding any bands, there’s not really any made to fit and I think it’d be too much.
My setting is super tall, it’s the first thing anyone says about my ring. You can kind of tell by looking at the shadow.
It’s custom, so it’s different 🙂 I love it!
