I hope these aren’t HUGE!

This is my great grandmother’s ring. The date inscribed on it is 5/4/25 and they were married 7/4/25. This ring means a tremendous amount to me!

1953, it was grandma’s it now has a RBC, I think the diamond that was lost/fell out was a OMC but not sure.  I’ve seen this side detail on other rings from the 1950’s period.

@ThingsThatShine:  HOLY MOLY! That’s beautiful! Even more special that it’s from your grandmother!

I love all of your vintage rings! That’s what I really wanted, but ended up with something else instead (that I love as well).

this is my engagment ring my husband bought at an antique store.  Sadly we know nothing about it except how lovely it isand this is my grandmothers right hand ring i was given on my birthday.  She had the ring made from several other rings she’d had kicking around.  Love them both dearly, and i’d love to have a few more vintage pieces, i just can’t get enough!

@ThingsThatShine:  I love your ring! It’s so pretty and delicate. It’s amazing that it’s over a century old!

I’ve posted this far too many times, but here’s mine! It’s from the 1840s- we got it on Portobello Road in London 🙂 (Sorry, this picture is huge!)

It’s sterling silver over gold, so the patina is really unique. I actually had my curved wedding band plated with black rhodium on the prongs so that it would match.

Always happy to visit the Vintage threads!

My ring was FI’s grandmother’s from the 1930’s but the diamond is an OMC passed down from her father so the stone itself is over 100 years old.

Here’s mine – it was my great-grandmother’s that was given to her in about 1910, and then my grandmother’s.  I love it so much for the vintagey look, the sentimental value, and the fact that we could save money and the environmental/social costs of diamonds!

These are so beautiful. I wish I could have an antique ring, but all the ones I’ve found that I like are tiny (like size 4 and 5) and I have man hands. Boo.

I adore these vintage rings!  Mine isn’t vintage, but perhaps one day I’ll be able to find myself the perfect vintage sapphire RHR (that I can actually afford…).  I can but dream!
