Mine is rather simple. We are not dancing, toasting, or doing bouquet/garter tosses. Also everything is happening in one location, at a beach rental house, so we are staying there at the end of the night too.

Day of Wedding Schedule:

10:00am- set up tables/chairs/decorations

12:00pm- Lunch

12:30pm- set up bar/drinks, Put out guestbook, wedding favors, ipod

1:00pm- Make-up and hair

4:00pm- Caterer arrives, Cupcakes arrive

5:00pm- Photographer arrives

5:30pm- Minister arrives

6:00pm- Ceremony starts

6:30pm- Cocktails at the house while wedding party takes pictures

7:15pm- dinner

8:00pm- cut cake

9:00pm- photographer leaves

  • Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall

I’m so happy there’s a thread dedicated to this. I’m still editing mine – mine is a spreadsheet! I don’t know if my reception events are in the most practical order. I’ll need to talk it over with the DJ, venue, and if any Bees have opinions by all means tell me what you think!

(Green refers to where the photographer will need to be at any given time)

edit: already have a change: The bouquet toss at 10 is pretty late, so I moved it up to 9:30.

I think mine went something like this:

6:0110 wake up

7:15 have breakfast

8:00 hair done

10:00 get to the church, shake hands with photographer who is already waiting for me, idle chit chat and get dressed.

11:15 Someone went into the room to get the wedding party together so they could line up. <— nope, never saw anyone but my Maid/Matron of Honor, my mother, makeup artist and photographer before the wedding.

11:30 Stand in the hall, it’s time to get married

After that, get married go to the reception and have a good time

2pm go home. The guests can do what they want We’re tired and we’re going to take a nap.
